I don't start till next week, but it's first shift. It's a temp to perm thing, but I think it will be nice. Family owned business. I make less than at the old job, but that's just starting pay. The old job isn't there anymore, so the past doesn't matter. AND I might get another job offer that pays more. But I'm happy to be going off the unemployment rolls. Around here, we have many grocery stores, but until I was jobless, I'd never tried Aldi. This store is hands down the least expensive overall. The key is how efficient the stores are designed to run, which keeps their overhead way down. Anyway, I'm pretty picky about certain things when it comes to food. For example, I don't like just any brand of milk (oh I'm asking for it) as many brands have a funny taste ...
