| I posted somewhere else about the young guys that might come out with us. Well I went down to practice some snap shooting by my creek and 6 men came through the woods to use the field, they know the guy that owns the bordering property, so technicaly half the field I made is on his land. Anyway, most of them are newbs, 2 are not. I did play one game with them after 1 had to leave. I also talked about what we do as far as the big events, some of them sounded interested. I will talk to them again the next time they come over in a couple weeks or so. I would like to have more players from around here so there can be some car pooling. I am not going to be pushy with anyone, but will encourage them to at least try a big event. Once I went with you guys to one, I was hooked. I already loved the sport, but it showed me a different side of it, and that I was not the only crazy player in the world. I know some of you think I am looney, not true, I am certifiable! I think we have the best team around and want to see the numbers and quality of players climb. We need more nuts in the jar to rattle around when shaken. _________________ If a cow poops in the forest and noone is there to smell it.....did it poop? | I am working on a few more recruits, Shrub met one of them at BC. He is young, maybe 15, he uses an autococker pump all the time. He played here at my house a while back and has skill, might be a good addition, I am trying to see if he can come down to BB this week, will post a Y/N later. I still have a few more older guys to get in touch with, used to come over a while back, see what I can do when I get rid of the alzhimers (sp). So what is the opinion of the group I brought to BC? post up or pm me, just curious. _________________ If a cow poops in the forest and noone is there to smell it.....did it poop? | They were right in the action with me, not timid of a fire fight. Think we might have shaken them up a bit when we walked down the street firing, and the charges did get their attention. I felt comfortable that they would follow me where ever I wanted to go. You know me, I will be in the front as long as I have a goal to achieve. The other guy I am talking about bringing is the kid that Ben was refering to at BC. In a battle against several of our side, using a pump and taking out 3-4 of them by himself. He was supposed to call me back last night, I will call again today. His parents might have some reservations about a trip with me since I do not realy know them, met the dad 3 times now. If not I am sure he will join us sooner or later, loves to play. I will keep asking, but not push the issue. He might be a good addition to the pump team, have not asked but he does know we are in it at PBC. _________________ If a cow poops in the forest and noone is there to smell it.....did it poop? | Well, my last recruit Hendie has worked in our favor I think, I got another one on line for the BT game...David...Merilu, Spam & Shrub got to meet him and he is very interested in coming to some of the bigger scenarios with us. I also have another younger guy wanting to come out, some met him at my house, Andre is his name. He is 19-20ish, in the action type of player from the two games I have played with him. He might be coming to the BT game as well. We had Jamie and Richie come to a rec day and I know they both would be great additions to our team, I hope they both can come out for some games before the year is out. If things continue we might be getting some fresh eager players to join us and from the way things have been going this year we need some bigger numbers. I know some have had it tough this year and others have that life thing to deal with, lol, but we are a great team with small numbers and I know that Riot was a huge force before I joined and I would like to see the numbers rise and enemy flee when we come to an event. Lets try and show our new possible members how we play hard and honest and I am sure they will enjoy the game as much as we do. _________________ If a cow poops in the forest and noone is there to smell it.....did it poop? | No problem with the sleeping arrangement, there will be plent of space available, just get there and ask for Milkshake....someone will point you in the right direction. This is not going to be what I consider a big game, maybe 200 if we are lucky. It will be a fun game with all those we know being there. I plan on returning Sunday so some rec play then might be possible. _________________ If a cow poops in the forest and noone is there to smell it.....did it poop?
