Too bad...maybe Ace can help me represent Riot there. I have Grumpy & Joker lined up on the evil side with me and with the rest of the Sabers I know it will be a fun and interesting game.
Hope someone posts some pics up on junkie so you can see some of the action.

This freaking sucks...This is the most events that I have ever missed since joining the team when we were still the madballers...I feel as if i have let you guys down.

No you haven't, just the way things go at times. You can make it up to us by making sure that you get to Charleston for that game...someone is going to help out the celeb general and unfortunatly you all know him well, you should because you named me...uhhh...him.....shhhh, still not public yet.

Use reverse-psychology on him next time. Something like "Oh, you'll just wimp out on us at the last minute as usual"...

or if you're really annoyed with him try

They very well may have. You got to remember that last year between my sister's terminal illness and my shoulder surgery right after that, which includes a long recovery (physical therapy), then the economy starts nose-diving, and since we did a lot of business with G.M., it dived quicker than most for me, then in very early March, the dreaded layoff happened, and I just got a new job (6 solid months of no work), Sooooooo, I haven't exactly been hitting the fields. I've almost been out of commission for 2 years. Well actually, my sister's illness started (or became known) about this time the year before that, so I have been out for 2 years.
Not that I'm complaining...like they say, if it doesn't kill you, it makes you stronger....well, I wouldn't say I'm stronger, but I am a better man for having gone through it all. Adversity builds character....I got all the character I want for a long time!!!

But at least I managed to guide a homeless kid in to college and to his first real home in 4 years (even if it is a college dorm) while I was out of work.

So now I need to shoot people.

Cowboy was able to pull his cast off (in 1 piece) off his arm at school the other day, 3 days early. Should give you an idea of how swelled it was when they put it on. So he's good to go.

Feisty got a job she has to work on Saturday, so she can't go. And believe you me, the way that girl spends money, she needs all the jobs she can get. The bank has started surcharging her for postage, because they were losing money with the twice-a-week mailings notifying her that she was overdrawn Embarassed

I was refering to before I joined the team Ace, I know we have not had a game there on the schedule since I joined Riot...or I would have done my best to check the place out.
It will be good for you to get out again, i have been fortunate to play alot this year...probably more games than any other year for me counting one dayers, scenarios and home games.

I don't think Adventure was in business before you joined the team. I think it's a fairly new field. That or the announcement of it was just new on Junkie and/or here. I'm thinking their coming out party was about a year to 1 1/2 years ago.

i'll have to be another casualty on this one: been having blood pressure problems etc and the doctor is telling me to chill out for a bit.. took me three and a half hours to mow the yard today because i was continously on the verge of passing out... so i think i need to listen to the doc while we figure out what the hell is wrong with my circulatory system and i adjust to some new meds.

i am still on taret for free finale.. will have to see about the October game.. november shouldn't be a prob either
