these last minute cancellations are becoming problematic.. everyone: please bear in mind that i reserved two rooms for team use, of which the nightly costs would be divided among those who shared in the room.. with this pattern of unexpected cancellations, i am at a risk of incurring an additional charge for cancelling a room if it is not done so outside of the cancellation window OR at a risk of eating the full cost of an unused room, which i will not be pleased about doing..

So right now, we have:

Shrub
Merilu

Sneaky- own room
Lora- own room
Sahara-own room
Robert- own room

is this it? who am i missing?

Robert, if this is the final roster, would you rather just bunk up with Shrub and myself? If so, i can cancel the extra room i reserved for the team as well as the room i reserved for you and Eric

I do not see Ace on the list, hard to do a trip like this when school just started.

I can't do this one--I'm having take a real cost/benefit look at each event. I will try to make practices, whatever we do with the military school, & the year end game & hopefully some "short trip" events for the rest of the year. Doesn't sound like much, but hey, there's only 4 months left.

I think things will improve $$$ wise for me early next year.

By the way, I took Feisty to the Governor's School for Science & Math in Hartsville last week. We sure do miss her. Feisty left her old high school (Hillcrest High) ranked #1 out of 530 kids in her class. She would have been valdictorian, but she 's better off where's she's at. They had a list on a wall of the top 20 universities the GSSM graduates go to after graduation. Tied for 9th place-- MIT (Not too Shabby). Feisty won't be going there I don't think-- She's wants to be some kind of a doctor last I heard.

And no, you can't play doctor with her.

I know how it goes, kids are tops for me also. I had a hard time not going ahead and paying for Eric to go with us, but he has learned the true value of money having to pay for his own extra things. I will go so far with all of my kids, but I have tried to teach them that life is not given to you and you have to earn the money and also the respect from others. Hope to see you and yours at the next event.

Anyone got a flashlight and things to hook up to my rails on the sp8? Might come in handy in the tunnels. Do we need binoculars? When are you heading out Shrub? Might want to link up with you and Merilu, possible carpool if you both have the room. I still have to decide about the gear I am going to take, do not want to take too much.

I am not sure when we are leaving I am riding with Will so I don't know about room. I have a flashlight but I don't have anything to hook it to Picatinny rails. As for Binocs I don't think we will need them. I'll let you know as soon as I find out.

I think spec ops or one of them has a small tactical flashlight in the neighborhood of $30. Comes with a pressur switch.

i say phk the light.. just shoot where you can't see.. lol

I never open my eyes when I shoot anyway, my marker has eyes built in confused
