well i will defenitly be there in may! I must say i had a blast, and ridin around walmart in buggies screaming buttscratcher and I Play PAINTBALL, isnt my idea of an ideal paintball team. So thinking about the situation with the Disco.. on Day2, trying to get inside.... What could have been done better there? I was there when one of the Little Girls kicked open the door...I tried to fire a few rounds inside and got my hand shot to phk.

Might it had worked if someone had made a suicide run inside, fall to the ground to hold the door open while having people funnel in behind shooting the hell out of everything inside? Was it a matter of not having enough people rushing into the building?

The issue I see is the door funnels people into a small area that the enemy from within can concentrate fire on...

The shield would have been a better option I suppose, but apparently the other team had possession of it..

Thoughts?

I made it in the disco after you guys got out and took quite a few of the Cartel down. There were 2 of their guys upstairs and none down. I ran from side to side hitting a good bit. They caught on and finally got on the radio to let the guys upstairs know they didn't have the building secured. As I was popping a guy who was trying to come in the window, I stepped out in the hall and got shot in the head by one of the upstairs players. This doesn't at all answer your question Junkee but the highlight of the game for me was sneaking in the disco and them not knowing! I feel bad for the guys I popped that walked in front of the murder holes. I could hear them yelp!
The shield was a valuable tool and yeah, they got it from us. They also had a table at the doorway that they were shooting behind.

i never made it past the door either.. after the girls stormed in, they got lit up something fierce but we never could tell where the shooting was coming from.. i think the only way to really take the place down is to flood it, which is what i was trying to gather enough people for in hopes of doing.. the problem is when people run in one at a time and get eliminated as the next person in has no idea where the shooting is coming from.. i couldnt tell if someone was behind the door that we were kicking because it kept swinging back at us, around the left corner that looked like a hallway of some sort, or the small cranny/room to the right.. i took the option of moving right to left and shooting in hopes that they would reveal themselves.. but that didnt work.. i think the shield or a butt-ton of smoke (which isnt allowed inside the buildings at MOUT) is the best option..

hhmm..maybe using the mirror would have been ideal too... get a bead on where they may have been..... then start pouring guys in.. i dunno..

i'm sure we're going to see this situation again during the next one..

holy balls! i just remembered that I was supposed to go in first during that raid.. man i feel like a dipshit! completely forgot about the battle plan and defaulted to holding down and covering... that IS NOT happening again.. should it: you guys need to put me in a bull pin, no bull shit

Yea those were some really good pics...Unfortunately they didn't get the one of Will doing his Tony Montana Impersonation...Can't wait for the next one maybe we can secure enough players to get the special role for that one. I would really like to get the role of the Cyborgs...Thoughts?

Sounds good to me, I seemed to miss the hottest action this time, wish I was there when sweet Marilu busted through and destroyed the competition. Hope we can put 15-20 people there and show some of the others how to kick azz and take names. The pics on Junkie are great, but cannot show how intense the action was at times, this will be on the top of my list of places to return to. What are the Cyborgs? Would be extra cool to costume up for it !

A couple other options may have been...whipping a couple grenades in the door...then sending a ref in to check folks... or using a law...and blashing a rocket through the door.. obviously we didn't have either of these things on hand at the time... but might be worth thinking about for the next one..
