OK guys the game was a freaking blast! We (the DEA) ended with nearly double the points of the opposition. Riot got alot of props from this one on 3 different internet forums, and tons of props on the field (even though there was only 3 of us) I'm telling you guys this game, the field, and the missions were made for our team....don't believe me?..ask Merilu! By the end of the weekend we were already making plans to go back!

The next one is in September...Labor Day weekend (not sure of the date) There is supposed to be a group of around 150 people coming from Missouri, and they will be our opposition. I will be reserving my hotel in the next few weeks..it's gonna be real tough to get a room at the last minute for this one.

Awesome!! I wish I could have made it! Hopefully Labor day will be doable.

OK guys I have been talking via PM with one of the game producers, I have him interested in using Riot in a special role for the next DEA VS Cartel game in September. The idea behind the game is it's small town USA, and the drug war has spilled out onto the streets, The Drug Cartel, and the and the Irish mafia have been having gangland warefare throughout the city, resulting in utter chaos. The Government has called in a special unit of the DEA to quell the violence by any means necessary.

Last game members of Riot played for the DEA, this time I have proposed that Riot become a group of corrupt DEA agents, that have seen an opportunity to make big $ for themselves in the violent streets of Responder city.

The idea is we become our own team in this fight...sort of a Mercenary group who roams the city, and takes jobs from all sides..no real loyalty..will kill you as soon as look at you kinda thing!

Now there is not much chance that we will win in points, but we could really play a huge role in the game, and probably get ALOT of recognition!! not to mention it would be FUN!!!! This will all hinge on PARTICIPATION, without roughly 20 people we can't do it! Righ now I aqm just talking to him, and nothing is for sure..so no promises, but if we don't pre-reg a good enough group, he won't be able to re-write the game to add us in this role.

ok a little change in the "mercenary" idea. The producer wants a group to use as an equalizer to kinda help balance the game flow. As I understand him we won't be on quite as free a leash as I originally wanted. Basically no Raping and pillaging. So the question is do we want to pay the entry etc. and not really get to do things our way?? I'm not to sure about this one now. What do you guys think?

I realize the three hundred game is the hot topoic right now..BUT I would really like to see everyone from Riot stay at the same hotel (was thinking Pizza and beer around the pool on Sat. night) Pre-reg for the gae opens July 1. Merilu, you saw both Hotels which one do you suggest?

I am ready for this one, will need a roomate for the motel. I will not miss this one. I plan on taking it easy on the knee until this game, would like to practice a little before, but aint gonna risk hurting myself before the mout game.

That sounds good, I say we just rent an entire floor of the hotel & just party...& OB it will be good to have you back...I am sure some will bunk with you as we are always trying to save $$$...
