| I say be here between 10 & noon if possible Ace, no rush for anyone. I have paint Puddin, think Ace & Merilu have some too. $1 a ball sounds reasonable for resale, eh? lol Pinch Lora? Damn Ace, you trying to get Drew put in intensive care for X-mas? Sorry all cannot make it Saturday, maybe sometime later after the holidays we can do this again and get all of us together. I want to do more repairs and building when I get time, need to fix a few spots that have been falling down. _________________ If a cow poops in the forest and noone is there to smell it.....did it poop? | Was in nicaragua for a wedding, first time to a third world country and there are much worse ones out there. But will say that nicaragua is a beautiful country but still a hellhole. At the airport had homeless kids begging for food, i don't speak spanish so i did not know what they were saying but found out later. Would not recomend visiting the country _________________ |

Yeah, that would get ugly quick. As far as work at your place goes, I'd be happy to come up there & help. I might can provide wood too. Got a truck? |

| Puddin. Call me you have my number. Guys my Saturday is now up in question as they child is ill. It will depend on getting him to my wifes or not. Typically when he isn't feeling well he stays at that parents house until he's better so we don't spread the illness. _________________ |

| Well, it was a fun day even though the group was small. I am sure we will be able to do this again soon and maybe the timing will be better so more of you can attend. I know this weekend was hard because of the approaching holidays and we all have busy lives trying to balance jobs, families and tons of other things, so it is understandable that schedules are hard to make. If any of you ever want to get a group together and come play you are more than welcome, I do not need to be here and you can bring as many as you want. I want to try and do this once every other month next year, maybe make a schedule up and post it so whoever can make it can reply. Ideas? _________________ If a cow poops in the forest and noone is there to smell it.....did it poop? My pastures are the greenest cause I know how to spread the manure, oh yea!!! | I think that'd be great. I talked to Shrub this morning. Hell I had two cases of paint to burn...sucks I couldn't make it up there with you guys. The son ended up going over to the wifes about 1pm...but then a 2 1/2 drive on top if it wouldn't have made it worthwhile by then. _________________ |

| It is hard to explain my field to people. It is mostly ditch with a small creek, you can play the top on one side. Plenty of natural contour with the banks being high. I put lots of stuff all over so it is like speedball in the woods. How does that sound Shrub? Everyone so far that has played here says they like it, not the same old type of field. What is your opinion Shrub? I will shoot for a mid January date (17th Sat. or 18th Sun)if it is not too cold. I have a fire pit at the staging area and a tarp to block the wind, maybe we could get some action then? _________________ If a cow poops in the forest and noone is there to smell it.....did it poop? | I ended up shopping till about 8 PM the day of the game & most of the next day too--and I thought we were about finished already. I was shopping with the wife, so that meant woman style shopping, not man style shopping. Woman style shopping wears me out & drives me crazy. Anybody not know the difference, just say so & I'll explain it to ya. I also had to shop Dec. 24th till about 2pm also. In between, the family had 3 rooms at the beach. Too cold to do beach stuff--even walking on the beach, but they had a very well heated indoor pool, so we had fun there. We had 3 rooms--1 for me & the wife, one for 2 of the kids, and 1 for Feisty all by herself. I was very happy with that arrangement--just what the doctor ordered. Only 16 people in the whole place & we were 5 of them. We had discount coupons for Medieval Times, so we did that. We'd been before; about 1 visit every 3 years is plenty, but it's fun, but pricey. It's about $50 / person if you pay full price, but we had a half-price ticket special. If you ever want to go, give me a call, I might can hook you up, as my mother-in-law gets real good deals thru her work. You might can do as well on the internet; I haven't checked. Travel careful everybody!! |
