What are everyone's thoughts on our next event? Throw out some Ideas people...

I am not sure on an event for Sept. atleast for myself. other than some rec-ball.

If I do not spend time with the wife I won't have any balls to play with! So the Bearclaw is out for me, maybe I can squeeze in a rec day or 2 if it is not an over nighter. I say we hit Columbia early in Oct for a day if they are not hosting an event, that will also give us a chance to drop in on crip and see if he will share the meds!!!

I would like to either do a one day event at Extreme or (and better) do something closer to Columbia, with Triggertyme being the number 1 option I guess. Surely Triggertyme is having some kind of one-day event in October.

no events yet for triggertyme last scenerio it was one sided it was team cf, eod, and me(10 people all together) vs 30 or so about 8 or 9 from a team and we pretty much went with out any competition like the last three hours we were on the field alone

I meant to check on ballbusters to see if they're up and running yet. would like to check them out sometime once they're operational.

I know there is a pump scenario at Palmetto toward the end of October.... i've got a couple pumps i can loan out... wouldn't mind checking it out...

Haven't heard of any other events unless ya's just want to rec ball it....

ballbusters isnt running yet checked with jimmy when i went there this weekend the lexington field is still running though

What about checking out that field "near M. Beach" that they have benn talking up over on Junkie. We could camp at M. Beach state park for a night or 2.

In all honesty, I'd like to hit Extreme, but I feel we haven't done anything around Columbia or anywhere near there & we need to do that. On the otherhand, Bear Claw sounds like it is out, which I wanted to go, but I'd rather save that money right now anyway, so I'm not crying. I'm running short on ideas. I KNOW WHERE I'M NOT GOING (Lyman). What's up with Triggertyme? How can a field like theirs NOT have a good game at anypoint in October?

they just had an event that i just mentioned aug 18 i thought wayne dollack was supposed to have another game this month but i guess not

now they usually post the game thew week of the game

Probably part of the reason why their turn-outs aren't as good as they could be. If they had the details of the event a month or so prior to instead of 2 days before the game...and advertised on junkie..... i think they'd certain increase the head count.

I think TT has just alienated their player base period. I know the Wayne Dollack game that was there in May or June had a HORRIBLE turn out like less then 50 people I think someone said...which is probably the reason the other WD game there got cancelled...Wayne's not coming out of Florida for 50 players.

I'll try and get a date out of Jimmy when he thinks the big field will be up and running.

huh.. i had heard >100 players at that game...but still not the 500 that they predicted.

Yeah, looking forward to seeing Jimmy's field... I just hate they cut the weekday hours... I stopped by the other day for air...and he was closed..

Well, I have been informed now that there is going to be a baby shower at my house for a friend on the 20th of Oct and I CAN GO TO BEARCLAW THAT WEEKEND!!!! Yes, if we can get enough that want to go that is, I will go anywhere we can get a good group to. We have some time, so lets put all our heads together and maybe we can get one average size brain out of the pile of ooze and come up with a good, dare I say, gameplan for Oct.
