Paint roller

I have had the thought of making a paintball roller for a while now out of an old ice cream maker I have had for years. Since the weather was crap and I had most of the materials I thought I would give it a go. I have seen pics of Joker's roller (PBC & his pics are on his pbjunkie page) and I just got the rough draft started.
It tends to walk away so I put it against something. Paint goes in the opposite side from the motor and I have put a bag in so far.....could probably hold a case easily. Again, this is the rough draft and I plan on improvements as I go.

So wait are you suppose to put all your old paint in there and keep it rolling until next time you use it? Sorry if it sounds dumb I just have never heard of a paint roller until I got here?

It just helps removes dimple from paint so that it will shoot better and straighter. Helps alot for us pumpers.

ok got ya so you buy a case or 2 of paint put it in the roller and let it work those dimples out right before you plan on using the paint. good stuff anyone made a roller yet?

I did, but had to dismantle it for space reasons. I will go forward with it again soon, just this time make it smaller...maybe 500-1000 balls max. The ice cream machine notor works great...just need some modding for stability...This is just a what if by me, I have seen & heard of others doing such so I thought I would give it a shot.

yea i think you can make a great roller after seeing what you have done with that course for a backyard woods course its awesome!
